It is the evening of another contentious election in America and yet somehow, she is unbothered. Either she believes in God or she does not. Either Christ is on His throne or He is not. Whether she is awakened to another day, or not, earth will continue to revolve around the sun. She will make the best of the circumstances life presents to her. She will honor the lifetime of sacrifices her mother made to ensure her children had a future. And, not least of all, she will honor the life-saving sacrifice Christ made to ensure that all earth’s inhabitants have a future and hope. May we all find peace within ourselves and with one another.
