She worries a lot about her mother right now. Both she and her sister are caregivers for their mother who is experiencing extreme grief after the death of their brother, her mother’s first-born son. Self-care is very limited, but when she can she tries to do things that bring her comfort and peace. In brief moments she reads, she sews, she crochets, she practices her violin, she dances, and she writes. This helps her to find the clarity and motivation to keep going.
