Black Nativity 2024

She had the pleasure again this year of seeing Karamu House’s production of Langston Hughes’ poetic expression, Black Nativity. It is a Christmas tradition for her and her sister to see the production and as always, it helps to set her mood for the holiday season. The theme of the story is Christ’s humble birth and how we continue to this day to celebrate His kingship. There may be strife in the world today, especially in the United States, but Christ is still on His throne.
